HOT shit, new oasis album and single!

the title of the album, known for 3 months now on forums, "DONT BELIEVE THE TRUTH"

single: lyla

cant wait to hear stop the clocks.... and goin to the Madison sqare garden show, june 22

On May 16th 2005 Oasis return with a brand new single entitled 'Lyla'. The track is taken from the band's hugely anticipated new album entitled 'Don't Believe The Truth', which follows two weeks later on May 30th on Big Brother Recordings.

Noel Gallagher believes that 'Lyla' is a true Oasis classic. "It's The Who. 'Lyla' was specifically designed for pogoing. We wrote 66 tracks and 'Lyla' was one that we revisited late on and it's ended up on the album. I'm happy with every track on the album."

'Don't Believe The Truth' is the sixth Oasis studio album - their first since the number one multi-million selling 'Heathen Chemistry', released in 2002.

Crowning what will be an extraordinary 2005, Oasis will embark on an extensive world tour that includes nine huge shows in the
UK - including seven stadium gigs. Tickets for these dates sold out in record time, even challenging the speed with which they sold out their legendary Knebworth shows of 1996. Oasis have just added shows in Newcastle and Ireland in the face of phenomenal demand. Further UK and European dates to be announced soon.

Furthermore, Oasis will return to
North America for the first time since 2002, playing their biggest US shows to date. Their show at the legendary 14,000 capacity Madison Square Gardens in New York on 22nd June sold out in an hour. Check out the tour page for all the dates!

Make sure you keep checking back to oasisinet over the next couple of weeks for more exciting announcements!!!!!

Hey all...

Wow, it's been such a long time since I last posted it's a disgrace... I mean my friends that have blogs posted the microsecond they got back from camp, and I didn't do that... I have been chilling with my friends and it's been awesome. i leave for Las Vegas on this coming tuesday, and I wish that we could have done that earlier. Anyway, I'd like to talk about camp. The epic cabin 10B split on August 15, 2004 for the last time only to have a few maybe show up for senior camp next year. I might not be one of them. I have been looking at a few other options, like get a job or travel to Europe for the summer. Both will be awesome I guess, but I don;t think I'll ever have a group of friends like I did with those group of guys. I mean, sure we had our disagreements, everybody does. But I really have to say the great memories outnumber the bad. On the last night, we didn't do much (which was quite unusual) but anybody who was there will remember Jason's comment to Jancy, which might have been the quote of the year. But there were only 12 guys who heard it. You could give them any number of names, but only if you were part of it. The traverse was awesome, and I am still gloating about it. Traversing the Presidential Mountain Range was one of the proudest experiences I have ever had. Getting to camp was awesome... finally breaking free of the mold that I had been in for the last 10 months, and discovering some of the best music ever was cool too. Meeting some of the most memorable people I will ever know was awesome. Just running, playing, chilling was enough. I did 70 pushups in 1 1/2 minutes, something I am extremley proud of. I can probably beat that if I tried. The six - pack was there, and still is. But it's fading. I learned so much on the guitar. I am still learning so much on the guitar. It's kinda hard to believe I've only taken it up for 6 months. I swam so fast and smoked everybody on Olympics.... I got confidence in many things. I had some bad experiences, which whenever I'm in a bad spot, I'll say "I've been in worse." Which I have. Which I am proud of. Now there is only so much more to say, but I will only puzzle you even more. Mainly inside jokes that have meaning to me but not you. So I will look ahead and see school coming up. It will be awesome being back together with friends. But I miss my home away from home. I have to accept change, which I am still afraid of. But it will pass, like everything else. Like James Taylor said, "I've seen fire and I've seen rain."

- Don't Go Away

Hey all...

I'm about to set out on an epic journey, the camp summer. School has ended. No more finals for a year, and no more work for another three months. It's been great. Just hanging out with my click of people, going to movies and enjoying days getting up at 12 am and going to bed at 2. Mornings around in my sleep clothes, and watching movies. My band had a good first practice. Recorded some demos. Brent and I will be together all summer at camp just horsing around on the guitar, making up stuff. These past 10 months for me have been a time of great growth. We started in September with hopes and dreams and memories to be had. The work was easy. The bar/bat mitzvah parties were great. Then the work got harder. Finally we caught a vacation, and the year went on. Mitzvah parties got tedious. Then they were fun again, running around in the dark, yelling at the top of our lungs shouting the words to the songs that made us what we were, just the class of '09. I'm gonna miss these people, my friends. I've become independant of my parents. I can walk around with out them. It's great. The summer has come. More lazy nights and days with guitars and hikes and iPods, and socials, and then it's over. The last year that the bunk 10B will be together. From 2B to 4B to 6B to 8B, we've also progressed. Who knows if we will be together next year. I don't want to grow up. I want to stay like this. Life's fast. You could miss it. Bands like Phish and Dispatch are calling it quits. They are done. My bands beginning. Soon we will be done. It's getting better and worse. After this, this epic summer that will be our last, I'm off to Europe. Paris for my second time, Prague my first, and back to jolly old England. The bottom line is, I'm just scared of change. Europe has nothing to do with this. 7th grade is over. Camp is beginning, but soon that will be done. Take it easy. Save the music.
